Atlantis Found in New Location

There were a number of times this lost city’s location had been named: in or near the Mediterranean Sea, in the Atlanctic Ocean and Europe, Antartcia, Batabano Bay, Bahamas, Bermuda Triangle, Pacific and Indian Oceans, Indonesia, Black Sea, North Sea and even the Yonaguni Monument in Japan had all been linked as the place where Atlantis had been.

It is the legendary island-city thought to have disappeared into the sea in an instant. Because of this Atlantis had been a never dying interest that had wormed its way in modern culture: in its arts, literature and popular ways.
The mythical city had never really ever been found. But for history’s sake there were a number of times this lost city’s location had been named: in or near the Mediterranean Sea, in the Atlanctic Ocean and Europe, Antartcia, Batabano Bay, Bahamas, Bermuda Triangle, Pacific and Indian Oceans, Indonesia, Black Sea, North Sea and even the Yonaguni Monument in Japan had all been linked as the place where Atlantis had been.Plato originally mentioned Atlantis in 360 B.C. Though many criticized him and said he just drew memories from events like the Thera eruption, Trojan War, Helike destruction or even the failed Athenia invasion of Sicily it is now only in modern times that scientists are taking seriously the possibility of Atlantis’ existence.
For-the-fun-and-probably-valid-and-last-sighting-of-the-Atlantis-being-found’s sake 2011’s version is said to be in a Spanish marsh or wetland discovered by a University of Hartford professor Richard Freund using satellite photography, ground-penetrating radar, underwater technology and plain sense. Freund and his team pinpointed a marsh in southern Spain noted for being dry for only one month a year. This was heralded with a 2008 space satellite photograph of what shows to be a submerged city in Spain’s Dona Ana Park.
Fed up with later findings of “standing stones” and memorial cities in central Spain built in the image of Atlantis Freund is very confident on his latest findings. However, for notekeeping sakes, the structures Freund and his team found aren’t the first thought to commemorate or have been built by survivors of the Atlantis. However since Freund believes that refugees or survivors from Atlantis would’ve built smaller versions of the city as a tribute the latest findings of ancient sites surrounded by concentric moats made him believe that he and his team were on the right track.
A wood found dating back to 440 B.C. in the area showed methane. Methane might indicate that a lot of living things there died all at once. No methane layers was found in the other areas except where they were working.
Much as he remains very optimistic with his study Freund is open to the fact that not all would be believers and not all would ever settle on his findings.
