Zara Phillips’ Surprising Royal Fashion Sense

The world class equestrienne is a class of her own in the royal fashion stakes giving her soon-to-be royal cousin Kate Middleton a stiff competition in a new dimension.

Coming from a family where mere glamour usually comes from the women who marry into it it is surprising to see a descendant of the English royal family having a keen eye on fashion and dress herself tastefully and acceptably as one of its peoples.
Her uncle Prince Charles regarded her birth as being bright as the dawn. Hence Princess Anne’s second-born child and first grand daughter of Queen Elizabeth got her Greek Biblical name Zara. Currently she is 13th in line to the throne of 16 independent countries.
Now at 29 and bound to get married, after eight years since meeting at a Sydney bar her Yorkshire fiance and England rugby captain Mike Tindall, in Edinburgh this summer (after cousin Prince William’s wedding) the world class equestrienne is a class of her own in the royal fashion stakes giving her soon-to-be royal cousin Kate Middleton a stiff competition in a new dimension.
If Kate Middleton is noted to dress with all the restrictions of a future queen Zara is noted to dress more as a scion of a rich conservative family exercising all her taste, freedom and monetary limitations however way she can.
Much as the only close blue blooded born royal noted for her innate style is the lesser blue blooded Lady Helen Windsor Taylor (a first cousin once removed of Queen Elizabeth and a great granddaughter of King George V) Lady Helen’s fashion style doesn’t rest so much with commoners since she serves as a fashion British representative of the luxury brand Giorgio Armani and is known to seep from head to toe with the designer’s products. Besides at 46 she is the epitome of glamour and fashion of another royal generation.
Zara is, however, a little different. She is a royal girl who radiates fun, energy and an ugly-duckling-to -swan-legacy with a surprsingly good skin for a woman who spends her entire days riding her horses training on her sport. She is touted the most likeable woman in the royal scene known to wake up before dawn and muck her way into preparing herself, her horses and her barn for her daily routine training.
Though a pierced tongue and out of this world fashion choices had been her indoctrination of finding out what looks good on her this no nonsense royal has the liberty to put her own style, with the help of her favorite stylist Ceril Campbell, and is just limited by the means to make her way into the world (she doesn’t perform royal duties thus she receives no money from the Parliament and earns a living on her own) to unintentionally limit her fashion to reasonable realistic choices.
The recent Ladies Day at Cheltenham is one of the opportunities to see how this down to earth royal pull off another look characterized by royal ladies’ tendency to look understated but elegant in sophisticated tailoring even if faced with colorful racegoers dressed in a brazen array of flamboyant and sometimes garish hats, feathers, fascinators and fancy accessories.
The first day of Ladies Day saw the newly-engaged Zara in a beige, suede trenchcoat teamed with black tights, a textured beret and black ankle boots.
Though she knows how to pick and wear colors Zara Phillips opted for a black belted coat on the second day with a dramatic collar, a tartan newsboy flat cap with a flower in the same hue as her bright red patent Mulberrry handbag, fingerless gloves and suede ruffled shoe-boots.
Here is a fun look at how royal, down to earth and realistic Zara Phillips dressed over the years. Some are punctuated with mistakes but is tremendously salvaged by a great amount of fashion successes along the way.

Knock on Women’s Awareness on Cellulite and The Right to Wear Shorts

Armed with this article bound to create war with the expected violent reactions bound to come am just using a vehicle to reiterate to those who are unaware that such a thing as cellulite exists and guidelines that had been around since time immemorial on how one should dress definitely has a reason for them for merely existing.

At a time when one is afforded the luxury of being unintelligently bold and vocal enough to cry freedom in one’s choices which include expressing one’s self by how one clothes one’s body British uber-model, who made Calvin Klein a household name, Kate Moss’ recent Louis Vuitton 2011 runway is a knock on wood to those who love, well, err…wearing shorts and to those who are obviously unaware that cellulite is present (as hair is present) on anyone.
Defined as a skin dimpling that occurs mainly in women cellulite is found on women’s pelvic region, lower limbs and abdomen and had been medically sighted as a “normal condition of many females”.

Though causes of cellulite had been pinpointed that ranges from metabolism, gender-specific skin architecture, alteration of connective tissue structure, hormonal factors, genetic factors, the microcirculatory system, the extracellular matrix, subtle inflammatory alterations and even eating processed foods it is but safe to say that no one is immune to cellulite.
Though Kate Moss was wearing (for employment’s sake) what is termed as hotpants that looks like briefs this incident didn’t fail to make me think of women who love wearing shorts regardless of their age and sheer physical catastrophic appearance just for the sheer pleasure of showing flawless legs or thought-so flawless pair because of a mere application of body lotion.

Armed with this article bound to create war with the expected violent reactions bound to come am just using a vehicle to reiterate to those who are unaware that such a thing as cellulite exists and guidelines that had been around since time immemorial on how one should dress definitely has a reason for them for merely existing.
When it comes to wearing anything shorter than an inch above one’s knees:
1st Consider your age when you don’t like the idea of harboring a few giggles along the way because you might only be showing your cellulite.

They say women over 50 shouldn’t wear shorts and thank God for that. However, for broad-mindedness’ sake, older ladies can still wear shorts but this would only be limited to the knee-length ones. Certainly the skin of an older woman isn’t that visibly attractive as before nor as attractive as it should be but even a woman in her twenties with a low IQ would know that no amount of lotion can fake younger looking legs in women living halfway near a century. Besides these ladies, and even those way past 35, are first and foremost should be afforded dignity and respect and not just meer glances from men who oftentimes have a questionable motive if a woman’s legs are the ones they noticed on glaring display.
2nd Consider your frame if you’re not sure if you have cellulite. Though guided by the height and weight chart many people are still not aware that this same height and weight chart (should) include one’s frame size. Modern versions even have different chart interpretations depending on one’s race with Asians being guided with an even less weight for their height and frame than their Caucasian counterparts.

As to determining if you’re small boned, medium boned or big boned: if your middle finger overlaps with your thumb when you wrap them on your wrist you’re small framed. If the middle finger and thumb touches you’re medium framed and a gap between the two fingers means you’re a biggie.
Ergo a 5′ woman cannot brag about being in her ideal nor healthy weight at 122 lbs. when she is small boned. This woman may not only have cellulite on her legs but also on her arms.
Almost all doctors would say there is no outstanding and realistic cure for cellulite as even lifting weights, dieting, living a toxic-free life, taking vitamins and minerals, and even the usual massage can only put a make-up on this reality that should naturally provoke women to cover what they should.
After all, if one knows how to really dress and present one’s self there are things like figure-flatering clothes, flattering cuts and proper color use that can make one more presentable, respectable and less of an eye sore to the mass people.
Thank you.

Demi Lovato Injured Again

Eighteen-year-old Camp Rock Disney star Demi Lovato was recently spotted with an ankle brace on her left foot bandaged tightly in LAX airport.

Barely two months after getting out of rehab after dealing with “personal issues” she sent a video message to her fans thanking them for their support while she was in the hospital for about three months and letting them now she’s excited in returning to work. Reasons ranging from substance abuse, eating disorder, cutting and others were speculated as the cause.

This latest photograph of Demi with another injury besides the then much caught-scars due to cutting certainly might put a dampener on the hopes of her fans. In a rare move of Disney they expressed support, best wishes and assurances that Demi can go back to Sonny with a Chance now temporarily named So Random after her treatment. Disney talents are known for the termination clause on their contracts once the Disney image had been compromised.
Though there’s no official explanation yet on why she was wearing that ankle brace Demi seemed hesitant to have her photograph taken.
Joining Demi in the picture was her younger half-sister, Madison De La Garza, known as Juanita Solis (daughter of Eva Longoroia) on Desparate Housewives.
Admittedly a victim of bullying when she was younger Demi had to be home-schooled because of this. Though the timing of letting the world know of the real reason or reasons for her rehab isn’t yet favorable on her part Joe Jonas’ ex was bravely quoted in being able to “raise awareness” to help other sufferers at the proper time.

It was on the first day of November last year when Demi left the Jonas Brothers’ Concert Tour as their opening act to “seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues” she is dealing with “for some time”. This was after she punched a back-up dancer. Settlement was done off-court.
As to her inpatient treatment that ended on January 28 it had been announced that she would “continue to see doctors” to help her with the issues she confronted while in treatment.

Atlantis Found in New Location

There were a number of times this lost city’s location had been named: in or near the Mediterranean Sea, in the Atlanctic Ocean and Europe, Antartcia, Batabano Bay, Bahamas, Bermuda Triangle, Pacific and Indian Oceans, Indonesia, Black Sea, North Sea and even the Yonaguni Monument in Japan had all been linked as the place where Atlantis had been.

It is the legendary island-city thought to have disappeared into the sea in an instant. Because of this Atlantis had been a never dying interest that had wormed its way in modern culture: in its arts, literature and popular ways.
The mythical city had never really ever been found. But for history’s sake there were a number of times this lost city’s location had been named: in or near the Mediterranean Sea, in the Atlanctic Ocean and Europe, Antartcia, Batabano Bay, Bahamas, Bermuda Triangle, Pacific and Indian Oceans, Indonesia, Black Sea, North Sea and even the Yonaguni Monument in Japan had all been linked as the place where Atlantis had been.Plato originally mentioned Atlantis in 360 B.C. Though many criticized him and said he just drew memories from events like the Thera eruption, Trojan War, Helike destruction or even the failed Athenia invasion of Sicily it is now only in modern times that scientists are taking seriously the possibility of Atlantis’ existence.
For-the-fun-and-probably-valid-and-last-sighting-of-the-Atlantis-being-found’s sake 2011’s version is said to be in a Spanish marsh or wetland discovered by a University of Hartford professor Richard Freund using satellite photography, ground-penetrating radar, underwater technology and plain sense. Freund and his team pinpointed a marsh in southern Spain noted for being dry for only one month a year. This was heralded with a 2008 space satellite photograph of what shows to be a submerged city in Spain’s Dona Ana Park.
Fed up with later findings of “standing stones” and memorial cities in central Spain built in the image of Atlantis Freund is very confident on his latest findings. However, for notekeeping sakes, the structures Freund and his team found aren’t the first thought to commemorate or have been built by survivors of the Atlantis. However since Freund believes that refugees or survivors from Atlantis would’ve built smaller versions of the city as a tribute the latest findings of ancient sites surrounded by concentric moats made him believe that he and his team were on the right track.
A wood found dating back to 440 B.C. in the area showed methane. Methane might indicate that a lot of living things there died all at once. No methane layers was found in the other areas except where they were working.
Much as he remains very optimistic with his study Freund is open to the fact that not all would be believers and not all would ever settle on his findings.
