Entertainment: Carnie Wilson Fired from The Fresh Diet for Cheating

Make do of what you have.  It makes life less complicated.  But if a big frame that threatens your health is what one has it's really an obligation to do something about it.

Carnie Wilson, the most haunting voice of Wilson Phillips and one of the daughters of Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, had always been obese.  She once reached 300 lbs. on her 5'3” frame.  Dieting, gastric bypass surgery and fitness programs were ineffective.  Weight lost was then regained.

In March she became the spokesperson for the gourmet meal delivery diet program, The Fresh Diet, where she lost 10 lbs. She was fired yesterday for cheating on cheesecakes among other foods not on the program which made her not lose the expected weight.

Anyway, her group Wilson Phillips is back.  If there is such an unmistakable harmony in music besides the Bee Gees' it is Wilson Phillips.  Composed of Chynna Phillips, daughter of Michelle and John Phillips of the 60s The Mamas and the Papas and Beach Boy's Brian Wilson's daughters Carnie and Wendy Wilson their “Christmas in Harmony” was just released.

Wilson Phillips' “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” debut at No. 27 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Chart this week.
