It's a world premiere and the ending of the saga of one of the most successful franchises in movie history.
Warner Bros. started a four-month-wait when they stated July 7, 2011 as the date of the showing of the final installment of their Harry Potter franchise series.
The magical send-off evening would start on the red carpet in Trafalgar Square up to Leicester Square's theaters in London where the film would be watched. Leicester Square was the original venue but people behind Harry Potter thought it was too small for their big send-off so they resorted to starting in Trafalgar Square.
This announcement came in the wake of Harry Potter bosses shelling out $500,000 to ensure that main star Daniel Radcliffe gets to his movie's premiere.
Radcliffe had been the pawn in the very game of stubbornness he made himself when he signed for the Broadway musical comedy How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in New York. This play is scheduled to be shown from February 27 to November 6 which obviously coincides with the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Harry Potter big bosses have to buy the tickets for the nights that Radcliffe would miss doing the musical while he is promoting the movie that made him who he is.
Guess he would be taking a big cut from his bonus.
